Senior Product Designer
I've been here since Flash was a feature.
Over fifteen years of UX in Boston. I came up through three agencies (small, medium, and large). Winsper taught me to hustle. Beam Interactive is where I became a UX designer. Publicis Sapient introduced me to product design at scale. Along the way I've lived through every major shift in the industry, from the App Store to AI. I'm not watching it from the sidelines. I'm already building it into how I work.
What changed my thinking most wasn't a design tool. It was Agile. Learning to write user stories properly restructured how I approach design. I write user stories alongside the design, not ahead of it. By the time interactions are 90% locked, acceptance criteria are already in Gherkin, detailed enough that engineers have no surprises and QA has no ambiguity.
I've been a team of one and a lead managing teams of designers, researchers, and strategists. I still do the work. When I'm leading, I'm not hovering. I'm usually the one sketching something next to you.
